For those interested to invest in European startus: Deutsche Borse opened a platform to meet European startups and investors.

The Deutsche Börse Venture Network, a new, online-only platform for businesses and investors, will hopefully give investors more visibility into European startups, said Steffen von Blumröder, head of the financing department of Bitkom, an association of information technology companies.

Companies must meet certain criteria to qualify for the program. They must be in the growth, late or pre-IPO phase and have proven initial business success. They also must meet sales growth and profitability requirements. Those that qualify can present themselves directly on the platform, without support of investment banks or other intermediaries.
